orb won't open / stuck on "waiting for your moment"
The ritual window opens for 10 minutes centred on your set time. Outside that window, the orb waits. If you think it should be open, tap Resync — clocks drifting even a minute can cause a miss.
one side shows "press now", the other still waiting
A brief network hiccup can desync state. Both partners should tap Resync. If one side already pressed, that press will be re-sent automatically on reconnect.
changed the ritual time — now showing tomorrow instead of today
Any time change moves the next window to tomorrow if the new time has already passed today, or if today was already resolved. If the new time is still ahead, the window will open today as normal.
partner shows as offline but they're connected
Network routing can stall MQTT messages. Tap Resync on either device — it reconnects the broker and re-announces both sides' state within seconds.
missed count went up even though we both pressed
Both presses must land within the 10-minute window. If one press arrived just after the window closed, it counts as a miss. Try syncing your clocks (automatic on most phones) and tap Resync before your next ritual.
the page is blank or stuck after loading
Hard-refresh the page (pull down on mobile, or Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+R on desktop). If the room link is old, ask your partner to share a fresh invite link.
invite link stopped working
Links are single-use room codes — once both sides have joined, the link is no longer needed. If you need to reconnect after clearing data, the host should share the link again from Settings.
stats or calendar look wrong after changing time zones
Ritual history is anchored to the host's timezone. If the host travels, past entries stay on the original timezone's calendar days. Future rituals will use the new timezone automatically.
